As an entreprenuer and interactive artist, I’ve built a body of work that begins with photography, expands with interactive art and progresses to a coding company. My work connects large audiences to the power of creative coding and digital storytelling. I’m especially interested in crafting experiences that scale across a wide range of mediums - from web, projection, film, photo, audio and mobile. I was born and raised in Minnesota, and now reside in the Bay Area.
My work has appeared in Forbes, Forbes Science, TechCrunch, Fast Company, Teen Vogue, Italian Vogue, Amy Poehhler’s Smart Girls, Vice, EdWeek, EdSurge and is supported by communities such as the federal SBIR IES Phase I/II research grants, Y Combinator, NYU Tisch’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), 4.0 Schools, the Young Photographer’s Alliance, InSite Fellowship, and Girl Scouts USA. My work has received awards from, the Parent’s Choice Award Foundation, Common Sense Media, SIIA award, and Maker Faire.
