Playful Research
Plant Pinball is a game designed by Sam Brenner, Fang-Yu Yang, Sarah Rothberg and myself as a playful communication of research made by NYU Biologist Ken Birnbaum. The prompt was to create an interactive installation that would relay Ken’s research on plant root regeneration to the public. Our refabricated plant pinball machine was exhibited at the NYC World Science Festival.
